The list of covered items is extensive and the company claims no ‘hidden sublimits’ in their contract. All appliances covered in the contract are subject to complete repair or replacement.
U.S. Home Protective also addresses the value of one of their warranties in a real estate transaction. They site evidence that the existence of a warranty will speed a sale and will increase (or maintain) the value of a home during negotiation over price. Warranties that are purchased by home sellers during the course of a sale – after listing – are paid for after the home has been purchased and deducted from the sale funds.

They also allow real estate agents to complete warranty agreements in house, without the participation of a U.S. Home Protective representative.
